My Pregnant Pilgrimage

Today marks the start of a break I’m choosing to create for myself. 40 days of letting go and letting rest. I am choosing a quiet and unplugged space in which I can welcome the newest member of our family tribe. Our whole crew is so looking forward to this special time and as hard as it is for me to shut out the rest of the world, I am ready.

Happily I’ve got a special round up of content that I’ll be sharing with you all in the weeks ahead that feels fitting for this time. I’m calling it “My Pregnant Pilgrimage.” This series follows the months leading up to the birth of my first child when I prepared for and then walked the Camino de Santiago, an ancient pilgrimage path in northern Spain. It was a remarkable, surprising and transformational experience. I’m excited to share it with all of you.

Over the last few weeks I’ve had the chance to read old journal entries and consider those thoughts through my present-day perspective. I hope you will enjoy following along in the weeks ahead as much as I’ve enjoyed putting this series together.

Here’s to the adventures that lay ahead – whatever they may be.
